Steve is the founder of Morton Wealth Management, LLC in Greensboro, North Carolina. Steve is the principal advisor for our firm, and his credentials and experience allow him to advise our clients on all aspects of wealth management. With over 30 years of experience, his diverse background in financial services gives him the ability to see issues from many perspectives. Steve helps our clients primarily with the transition of retirement including both financial and non-financial concerns.

Matt is a Certified Financial Planner Practitioner and Portfolio Manager at Morton Wealth Management, LLC.  He began his career in 2008 as a dually registered representative of a Broker-Dealer and Registered Investment Advisor.  Matt joined our firm in 2010. He utilizes innovative investment strategies and planning tools to assist clients in reaching their goals.  He also serves on our investment committee where he heads investment research and manager due diligence.

Nathaniel joined our firm in 2013 after working as a financial planner for a not-for-profit, Fortune 500 financial services organization. He is passionate about helping individuals and families make wise decisions in their financial lives through comprehensive financial planning. He particularly enjoys working with individuals who are transitioning into retirement.  Nathaniel serves in numerous analytical capacities for our firm, including being a member of the investment management team.

Walt worked as an advisor with a Fortune 100 financial services firm before joining us in May 2017. Walt feels strongly that making the most efficient recommendations requires having a holistic understanding of the client’s situation, so he is a proponent of comprehensive financial planning. Prior to entering financial services, Walt was a company president in food service distribution, so he contributes business process and planning acumen to the team.

Anne joined Morton Wealth Management in 2014 after leaving management, human resources and training in the retail sector. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro and is pursuing a Certified Financial Planner designation. She is currently working on gaining a deeper knowledge of the portfolio management and financial planning aspects of the firm.

Jonathan W. Stoller Financial Advisor

Jonathan has worked as a financial advisor for high net-worth clients for over 30 years. He joined Steve Morton to work with clients in 1988, the year he received his CFP®. Jonathan’s unique approach focuses on listening to and understanding the needs, hopes and desires of his clients to implement the best possible solutions. He is also a founder and principal of TAO, Inc., a firm specializing in working with clientele from the entertainment industry. Jonathan serves clients primarily in Los Angeles where he lives.

Emily joined Morton in 2016 as a Client Service Representative. She has worked in client services in a variety of fields for the past four years and is passionate about building relationships with clients. Most recently, she oversaw all customer service and marketing at a local publishing house.

She is a Greensboro native and lives here with her husband and daughter. In her spare time she enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.

Susan joined our firm in 2015 as an Office Administrator. Susan's history includes experience in the fields of business, non-profit, and legal. She brings a wide variety of computer skills, database management, and multi-media experience to our firm. Susan enjoys communicating with our clients and helping meet their needs.

Susan is a native of Wilson, North Carolina and currently lives in Archdale, North Carolina with her family. She enjoys photography, cooking, and food competitions. She also enjoys volunteering at High Point Regional Hospital.
